Lena Dunham prioritizes exercise for both her physical and mental wellbeing. "To those struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression: I know it's mad annoying when people tell you to exercise, and it took me about 16 medicated years to listen," the Girls actress wrote on Instagram. "I'm glad I did. It ain't about the ass, it's about the brain."

She's also stressed that anxiety should be treated like any other medical condition. "I would tell my younger self that there's no shame in asking a teacher for help, telling a friend that you're uncomfortable, and that it's just the same as falling down and scraping your knee," Dunham said in a Facebook video.
